OBURA WONENARA MISSED OUT DUE TO POOR COOPERATION OF LOCAL MP WITH HIS DDA OFFICIALS

OBURA WONENARA MISSED OUT DUE TO POOR COOPERATION OF LOCAL MP WITH HIS DDA OFFICIALS. It is on a contrary of K59 million released on 11th February by PM James Marape to people of EHP on various projects to be roll out soon. Insurely, totally upset and disgrace for the people of Obura Wonenara district to misunderstand the above million kina secure to other district excluding OWAN, the failures is not us people but its the wrong with our concern authorities. Our part as been already done which during election. And the big part that need to be accomplished is with the mandated person which absolutely degrades the developmental integrity at poorest level which not aligned to other district in the country. Certainly, to be a leader must have the skill of strong courages, activeness, creative and innovative with in your role. Should not flea from people voices and rumours about their critics. These are usual challenges that every weak & voiceless leaders went through so as a leader have to except it and improve then move on. As a local guy from Marawaka, i am sorry about the future of Yelia and Obura Wonenara as a whole where my siblings and children are heading now while our fellow districts are very delightful with their children futures. Whats really wrong with the Obura Wonenara district. Anyway from my view, we may grumbling with political leadership, chossing a leader but will not prevail at the maximum level at this date. Lets all Obura Wonenara turn to Christian Life so the type of person required on be our up will be pope out naturally, physically and spiritually among the cripple, forgeten and voiceless. If this messages reaches you, then be an urgent of change in your life, families, community and district as a whole. It's time to expose and realises the true potential so let us not stumble because when one stumble it may literally & morally affect the others who are comming up behind us. We migth breed and raise David, Joshua and Mosses in place like this called forgeten, problems, cripple, hard terrain mountainous, so forth. Lets all make a critical decision to follow Christian principles to lead the future children of Obura Wonenara with the LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST which will develop high level of cooperation in all levels of services. Thank you very much for reading.May God bless all of us in our doings. Liklik tintin blo Mangi Marawaka. Gemel Wox Wasi.

Marawaka in dire need of baisic services

The people of remote Marawaka sub-district in Eastern Highlands have continuously missed out of basic government services for indefinite period since 1975. It is a very large landmass with 34 ward council area, the approximate population living in the area is 20 000 plus which covers part of Gulf, Morobe and Eastern Highlands province. The community only access basic goods and services through by plane and few to Menyamya road- Morobe Province.  Marawaka since the establishment of government station have largely neglected and demolished by their very own leaders due to silly excuses of many hard terrain mountains in the area. The district administrative leaders, political leaders and public servants were not working with like minded or hand in hand which as results of miss management in the office. And also Obura Wonenara district office is currently operating around the streets of Kainantu and Goroka where it shouldn't be, Marawaka do have district office where the local MP should

Separation of New provinces between Momase and Highlands needed

There have been increasing concerns over a number of years about the difficulties faced by Papua New Guineans living in rural and remote areas of PNG in accessing services that most urban dwellers take for granted. A parallel concern has been extent to which the education of people living in these areas is poorer than that of those living in areas with greater accessibility to education, welfare and other services. The Natinal Economic & Fiscal Commision  has  been  dedicated  to  a  vision  of  seeing  regeneration  of  basic  government  services  across  the country. The need is most dire for our rural populations. The people of Yelia in Obura Wonenera district Eastern Highlands and Menyamya distict in Morobe Province have faced tremendous issues and largely miss out of infrastructure developmental changes since the establishment of Papua New Guinea government. With various complains faced and made by the demoted communities concerning the issues affecting our entire com

Coffee farmers in remote Marawaka are struggling

Coffee is one of the commodity that contribute towards the economy of the country. It is a financial strength that boast some remote areas in terms of financial burdens like school fees and so on.  Marawaka in Eastern Highland is very remote that heavily depends on coffee to pay for goods and services. However last year till this year,I as a local student observed lacking of school fee assistance towards the students. As all student from the area came nothing in the beginning of the year to pay for school fees at various institutions, only bus fares. As of 2018 to this date coffee farmers are still searching for help or buyers to sell their coffee parchments. The local Mp through DDA must intervene and make budget plan to subsidize more on airfares in the areas of Marawaka because the only way to get store goods, school materials and health supplies there is by plane and few by Menyamya road to reach destination and vice versa.  This means if the airfare is K350, then the
